Regular Meeting

Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Halstad was duly called and held at the Halstad Telephone Company Community Room in said City on July 9, 2007 at 5:00 p.m.

Mayor Brookshire presided at the meeting.

The following members were absent: Tom Maroney – Renae Horning

Shane Carlson moved to approve the Agenda. Glen Brookshire seconded the motion. Unanimous

Minutes of the June meetings were examined and approved. Motion for approval was made by Ron Gotteberg and seconded by Shane Carlson Unanimous

All claims for the month of June were examined. Motion for approval was made by Shane Carlson and seconded by Ron Gotteberg Unanimous

Ron Gotteberg moved to proceed with a TIF district. Shane Carlson seconded the motion. Unanimous. A special meeting is to be called to act on the necessary resolutions.

Wally Peterson was recognized for over 55 years of service to the City of Halstad.

Shane Carlson moved to approve a Zoning Permit Application from Dan Parden for a fence. Glen Brookshire seconded the motion. Unanimous

Shane Carlson moved to adjourn. Ron Gotteberg seconded the motion. The next regular meeting of the Council will be August 13, 2007 at 5:00 p.m.
