Bring the family out for a night of food and fun. The Halstad EDA along with the local businesses would like to invite you to “Make Halstad Home Plate” on August 10th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm on 2nd Avenue West between Halstad Telephone Company and Red River State Bank. The EDA and local businesses would like to show our appreciation for your support and encourage you to continue to shop local. There will be a picnic sponsored by local businesses with hotdogs, hamburgers, beans, chips, cookies and root beer floats. There will be fire trucks, floaters, sprayers and tractors for the kids to learn more about. Hope to see you there!
Halstad Spring Clean up set for April 25
Business and Citizen of the Year Awards
On Monday, March 20th, 2017 the annual Halstad Community Dinner was held. A delicious meal of ham with raisin sauce, baked potato, corn on the cob, glazed carrots, dinner rolls and bars was served. The City of Halstad's Mayor, Lori DeLong, gave the State of the City Address. Business and Citizen of the Year awards were also given. Halstad's 2017 Business of the Year was awarded to Halstad Living Center. Halstad's 2017 Citizen of the Year was awarded to Jessica and Lucas Spaeth. Thank you to the Halstad Living Center and Jessica & Lucas Spaeth for helping make Halstad a great place to live! Also, a big thank you goes out to Todd Westcott and Tony Wolff for preparing a wonderful meal, the cub scouts for helping clear tables and to everyone else who made the Halstad Community Dinner a success.
