§ 65.01 PLANNING
COMMISSION ACTION.
(A) Any request for Zoning Ordinance
Amendment shall be filed with the planning commission for their report. The Planning Commission shall hold a public
hearing of the proposal and make its finding known to the City Council.
(B) City Council Action: After receipt
of the report and findings of the Planning Commission, the City Council shall
hold a public hearing to consider the request for amendment. If the recommendations of the Planning
Commission are upheld, a majority vote shall institute the amendment. Except that the adoption or amendment of any
portion of a zoning ordinance which changes all or part of the existing
classification of a zoning district from residential to either commercial or
industrial requires a two-thirds majority vote of all members of the City
Council.
§ 65.02 FEES.
The following charges shall be made for
the identified permits and applications.
All funds so received shall be placed in the general fund of the City of
Halstad.
(A)
Application for a
variance is $15.00.
(B) Application for a variance within 6
months of a pervious similar application on the same property is $50.00.
(C) Application for a Conditional Use
Permit is $15.00.
(D) Application for an amendment of
rezoning is $100.00.
